MOMIAS

Descubrí a Brendan Fraser hace años viendo "George of the Jungle", un bodrioentretenido que vi, precisamente, mientras mi amiga Sharon estaba pasando unos días en Tenerife. Ella vive en Nairobi y disfrutaba de la película como una niña, pues aunque no entendía ni papa de español había muchas partes en swahili y no necesitaba leer los subtítulos. Después encontré en vídeo algunas películas anteriores, incluida "God and monsters", estupenda película con Oscar al mejor guión adaptado, y otras biuenas comedias como "Mrs. Winterbourne", donde compartía reparto con Shirley MacLaine o "Crash", otra magnífica película ganadora de 3 Orcars.

Esta noche veré la 3ª entrega de "La Momia", quizá la más floja de las tres pero igualmente entretenida. La mejor, sin duda la primera, así como la segunda, estaban coprotagonizadas por la estupenda actriz Rachel Weisz (vista últimamente en la película de Amenábar "Ágora").
