Mi amigo Nico, desde Atenas, me dice acerca de este edificio: The building in the picture is "Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος" on Panepistimiou Ave.

Τράπεζα (yes, freaking trapezoid and trapeze are from this word) = table and at the same time bank... (why a table = a bank... well... First banks were at monasteries back in 16th century or even earlier and they were indeed counting the gold coins on the Table... Meaning the table where communion is prepared in churches).

Building is Bank of Greece HQ. Not a commercial bank but the central bank of the country, as we say ECB, or Banco de España for Spain. It's at 21, Panepistimiou Ave. in Athens center.
